Warmth In Dawn

You’re the gold at the end of my rainbow,
But I’ll probably never let you know.
You see, I’m not the kind of person,
Who let’s his emotions show.
I’m not that good at forming,
The essence of my thoughts,
But take my words and hold them.
You can change ’em for anything you want.

You’re the light I find at sunset.
You’re the warmth I find in dawn.
I want to hold you as long as I can,
‘Cause someday I’m going to be alone.

In this crazy world we live in,
I may not have done much good.
But if you don’t like the world as it is,
I’ll change it as you think I should.
You may not know i love you,
But my friends all know your praise.
Whenever you need a hand, here I am,
And I’ll be here ’till the end of my days.

You’re the light I find at sunset.
You’re the gold I find at dawn.
I want to hold you as long as I can,
‘Cause someday I know I’ll be alone.
