The Wall: Live In Berlin

Watched Roger Waters’ The Wall: Live In Berlin tonight with Victoria. That was a trip. I haven’t seen it in ages. The last time I did, it was on a VHS tape. Yeah. That long. This time I got to watch it on DVD on a 50″ plasma television and in surround sound. That’s the only way to watch it, b’god. That big TV really showed off the scale of the event. I felt like I was seeing it for the first time, and I was suitably impressed. It looks and sounds amazing.
Victoria loved it, too. It’s so cool to me that she’s getting into Pink Floyd and Roger Waters. Now I don’t feel like such a weirdo. I mean, I’ve known plenty of people who liked Pink Floyd, but rarely in the same way that I do. It was fun to watch The Wall: Live In Berlin with her because she not only appreciates the great music, but the lyrics and the themes behind it. Very cool.
