THE ASRIA GODDESS
This series will explore many themes, based upon the premise that the goddess Asria has come to Earth and
offers us solutions to most of our problems.
Will we accept her help? Will our political and religious leaders allow us to listen to the words of
a being whose very existence contradicts everything we know and believe about economics, social structure,
political discourse and spirituality?
I'm a cynic. I think if cancer was cured tomorrow, the man who found the cure would be dead the
following day. Or his cure would be bought and hidden in a laboratory somewhere, while pharmaceutical
companies reaped the profits of cancer treatment.
The character of Asria has been with me since my very early writing days. She's changed dramatically
through the years, however. For instance, she didn't used to be a goddess. One might say that she
got one hell of an upgrade.
By the way, as is pointed out in the books, Asria is a goddess with a lowercase G. Don't
get it confused. Some folks want to be the Messiah. Some folks are just doing their job.
