Next Week Off

Just talked to my dispatcher. I have next week off. I requested it because I just don’t see how I can get packed up and moved using just my weekend hometime. With a week to work with I can mount a campaign.
I really appreciate how understanding Epes has been. I can’t imagine that U.S. Xpress would have just given me a week off like that. This underscores my reasons for coming back to Epes. However much I bitch about miles, they treat me like a person. Not just some driver id# that’s assigned to some truck. That’s why I intend to finish my driving “career” with these people.
