March Of The Clouds

Silenced by the memories,
I search my thoughts again,
And find the dream forgotten,
Along the way.
The clouds remind me of passions,
I’ve long tried to deny.
My heart is aching … aching,
For the day …

The clouds remind me of destinies,
I seldom dream about,
And oh, I long to join them …
In their march.
Dreams, they whisper to me,
As the clouds go marching by.
The eyes of tears,
And this heart of sorrow, are mine.
The winds bring distant memories,
Of times free of lies,
And a dream of naive progress,
That has died.

The clouds remind me of destinies,
I seldom dream about,
And oh, I long to join them …
In their march.

Silenced by the madness,
I’m on my way again.
I search the skies.
I’m hoping for a sign.
The winds hold no new answers,
And the clouds go marching by.
I close the book of the future,
One more time …
