I’ll be performing with Systematic Chaos at a very special gig on Oct. 4th, 2009, at Katie Greene’s “Cars For Pinks” car show, which benefits the Susan G. Komen foundation in its quest to fund breast cancer research.
This event will take place at Quaker Steak & Lube in Clearwater, Florida, and will feature display of a customized pink Corvette (the CureVette) which will be raffled off at a later date by the Hernando County SWAT (Strong Women Always Together) team. The show will also be featuring a custom guitar which I’m building, with parts donated by myself and Systematic Chaos guitarist J. Michael Hester, which will be custom painted by incredible local artist Melissa Oraath.
The show is a fundraiser to help Katie Greene raise the $2,300 she needs to participate in the Susan G. Komen for The Cure foundations annual Breast Cancer 3-Day event. I’m proud to be able to contribute to Katie’s efforts to help defeat breast cancer, and I hope that you’ll come out and show your support.
