I don’t want to get into the habit of writing about band practice, but I met with the guys in Largo for the second time last night. If nothing else, it’s worth mentioning because I think #2 went better than #1. We did easier songs, I didn’t have a cold, and I was a lot more relaxed. The guys have been incredibly patient with me, and I appreciate that. I’m probably doing them a disservice by blogging about them, but I felt like it made sense to sort of mention this in the music section.
I still don’t know if we have a name or not. Only time will tell. All in all, I’m enjoying playing again, and I think I’ll eventually be able to make to leap to playing lead guitar without embarrassing myself. Eventually. Right now I’m embarrassing myself plenty. But I’ll get it.
Anyway, I don’t think I’ll blog too much in this section about things like this. If I want to say something about the band, that probably belongs in the personal blogs. I’ll reserve this section for gigs updates and gear reviews.
