I had an “episode” with my knee this morning. I had been asleep lying on my stomach. When I work up and tried to roll over, my left knee (the trick knee) was pretty much locked into place. It hurt a lot and it took a lot of will power to force myself to roll over and work it out. Even after I regained my range of movement, for about an hour I had severe pains that came in waves. In the end I just curled up under the covers, warmed my knee and hoped for the best. I still find some measure of humor in the fact that the doctors could never find anything wrong with it, in spite of the fact that in 1993 I had to learn to make adjustments to how I used my knee and that it gives me a lot of trouble to this day. So much for doctors, huh?
